A Final Note: We are victorious
To be honest with you, I was really struggling for a few days after the election. When I couldn't find answers to what was going on, and when I couldn't find any news network that I could trust, I went to the Lord and said, "Is this it? Is this the end of America and life as we know it?"
You want to know what He said?
"I've got a surprise for you."
"Huh? Lord, I need answers right now, stop playing games." (Yes, I speak plainly to my Daddy!)
I just kept praying in my prayer language and I felt a peace wash over me. His presence, His peace is IN me. It's IN YOU Believer!
Then He gave me these verses to meditate on:
1 Corinthians 12:14
"Now thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumph..."
1 John 5:4
"For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world- our faith."
Psalms 73:16-25
"So I tried to understand why the wicked prosper. But what a difficult task it is! Then I went into your sanctuary, O God, and I finally understood the destiny of the wicked. Truly, you put them on a slippery path and send them sliding over the cliff to destruction. In an instant they are destroyed, completely swept away by terrors. When you arise, O Lord, you will laugh at their silly ideas as a person laughs at dreams in the morning. Then I realized that my heart was bitter, and I was all torn up inside. I was so foolish and ignorant--I must have seemed like a senseless animal to you. Yet I still belong to you; you hold my right hand. You guide me with your counsel, leading me to a glorious destiny. Whom have I in heaven but you? I desire you more than anything on earth."
I am absolutely confident that God will redeem this time, and I am confident that His Light will overcome the darkness. I am confident that Trump will win, however, what if he doesn't?
How can we live in these times, REGARDLESS of who is in leadership? How do we live in the End Times, when we know we will be ruled by tyrants, who think killing babies and "illegal immigration" (aka human trafficking) are okay?
We must REMEMBER WHO WE ARE.
Who are we? We are children of God! We are victorious! We are righteous! We are blessed!
WE WIN! No matter what happens in the world, we win!!
May you see the miraculous all around you, and in your own heart, as you trust in Him!
